Thanks Lisa Murphy for your leadership in helping to bring our two organisations closer together than ever before, to better serve our overlapping patient communities.”

”Stronger Together”
Quoting Stroke Foundation‘s post:
”We are proud to announce the signing of a new collaborative agreement between Stroke Foundation and Heart Foundation.
The agreement commits both organisations to continue supporting the work of the National Hypertension Taskforce, including the development of updated clinical guidelines on lipid and blood pressure management, joint projects and evidence-based position statements.
High blood pressure (hypertension) is the leading risk factor for death in Australia, with around one in three Australians living with the condition.
With only 32% of Australians currently achieving adequate blood pressure control, collaborative sector approach comes at a crucial time to improve blood pressure control to 70% by 2030 in Australia.
Achieving better management of blood pressure and lipids will mean fewer heart attacks, fewer strokes, and healthier lives for Australians across the country.
This agreement demonstrates the ongoing commitment of Stroke Foundation and Heart Foundation to work together towards a common goal: better cardiovascular health for all Australians!
