“A project on Children Anaemia in Nigeria.
This documentation summarizes findings from a Power Bi dashboard built on the 2018 Nigeria Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) which captured Anemia status and hemoglobin levels among children, alongside key socioeconomic and demographic variables of respondents (mother’s or caregivers).
The Analysis was designed to answer the following questions.
- What is the overall burden of Anemia among the surveyed children and how severe it is on average?
- How does anemia severity vary by the mother’s caregivers age group, particularly around childbearing age?
- Does household wealth influence the prevalence and severity of Anemia?
- What role does the Caregiver’s education level play in Anemia outcome?
- Are there notable rural-urban disparities in Anemia prevalence and severity?
- How does hemoglobin levels relate to the number of births in the last five years?
This was actually my best class moment.”
