Jürgen Naudts: What If the Best Transfusion Insights Don’t Come From Guidelines… but From Your Neighbour?
Jürgen Naudts, Sales Lead at Quidel Ortho, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”What if the best transfusion insights don’t come from guidelines… but from your ‘neighbour’?
This year’s ‘Nederlandse Vereniging voor Bloedtransfusie (NVB)-TRIP ‘ theme: ‘Gluren bij de buren’ (looking over the fence), challenges the way we think about progress in transfusion medicine.
Because real innovation rarely happens in isolation.
It happens when we compare practices, question assumptions, and learn across borders, disciplines, and systems.
From AIHA diagnostics to military preparedness in blood supply, from O-negative stewardship to big data in hemovigilance (SCANDAT experience), the PETRA project – working towards a ‘Pan-European Transfusion Research Infrastructure’, and the unique challenges of the Caribbean blood supply model, this programme reflects a clear shift:
Collaboration is becoming the real engine of improvement.
Come and visit us at our Quidel Ortho booth nr 8 and have a coffee together with Titsia, Richard, Jos, and Jürgen.
We look forward to connecting with:
- Laboratory professionals and customers focused on daily practice and operational challenges
- KOLs and transfusion experts shaping the future of immunohematology
- Let’s meet, exchange ideas, and ‘look over the fence’ together at booth 8.
Because in transfusion medicine, progress is built on One team, one purpose, even when perspectives come from different sides of the fence.”
