‘Clots in Women with Cancer: How Laboratory Science Illuminates Thrombosis Risk.’

On a personal note, I am deeply grateful to all Medical Laboratory Professionals I’ve had the privilege to work with over more than two decades-across the Clinical Pathology Department at Mansoura University (Egypt), University of Southampton (UK), and Canada Queen’s University – spanning both clinical and research settings. It is difficult to name individuals, but your impact has been immense.

I am equally proud of Medical Laboratory Science graduates and trainees from St. Lawrence College who were trained in our SLC research lab.

Great to see you contributing across the country.

A special shoutout to dedicated international medical laboratory scientists navigating their careers in Canada with resilience and determination: Maica Jhiezl, Yunon Caroline Mwubaha, Olawumi Olaide Oyewo you are all an asset to our healthcare system.

And to my LinkedIn intelligent more recent mentees: Simon Senanu and Nastasya Nunki, Masresha Seyoum-your talent, curiosity, and commitment to sharing knowledge will undoubtedly take you far.
