Raphael Escaig: The Roles of Platelets in Inflammation Beyond Hemostasis
Raphael Escaig, Clinician Scientist Fellow at Deutsches Zentrum für Herz-Kreislauf-Forschung (DZHK), shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, adding:
“Happy to share our recent state-of-the-art review, ‘Platelet effector functions in inflammation,’ published in RPTH Journal.
In this review, we explore the roles of platelets in inflammation beyond classical hemostasis and highlight their diverse effector functions in thromboinflammatory processes.
Many thanks to Lennart Kreutz, Rainer Kaiser, and Leo Nicolai for their great collaboration and contributions.”
