Support the WHO Resolution On Stroke and Set A Clear Path to Action – World Stroke Organization
World Stroke Organization shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Every year, 12 million people experience a stroke.
More than half will die.
Of those that survive, 2 in 3 will live with serious long-term disabilities.
1 in 5 will suffer another stroke within 5 years.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Stroke is preventable, treatable and recoverable.
But only with comprehensive stroke services available to all.
This World Health Assembly is a chance for our Member State representatives to make a difference.
THE TIME IS NOW.
Support the World Health Organization resolution on stroke and set a clear path to action.
