Shivanand Kumatagi: Building Clinical Research Skills at the ASH CRTI Asia Pacific Program
Shivanand Kumatagi, Development Officer (India) at ICCBBA, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was an exciting and enriching experience to participate in the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Clinical Research Training Institute (CRTI) – Asia Pacific held in KualaLumpur from April 12–15, 2026.
The program offered a comprehensive overview of the research journey – right from literature search and study design to publishing, mentorship, career guidance, and networking.
The one-to-one mentoring, small group discussions, and highly interactive learning sessions were definite highlights and made the experience especially impactful.
For those interested, applications for the 2026 ASH CRTI APAC are now open.
Highly recommended for early-career clinicians and researchers in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine looking to strengthen their foundation in clinical research.”
