Travis Phelan: Advancing Anticoagulation Stewardship Through Research and Innovation at RMH
Travis Phelan, Medication Safety Pharmacist at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’ve had a fantastic two days attending the RMH Research Conference!
It was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues across the organisation, hear about the exciting work happening across RMH, and share the work of the RMH Anticoagulation Stewardship Team.
It was particularly exciting to hear how RMH is continuing to advance research opportunities and develop innovative approaches to how research is conducted, including some exciting new ways to leverage data!
One of my favourite presentations explored culturally safe research, particularly in partnership with First Nations communities. It was a valuable reminder of the importance of ensuring research is inclusive, respectful and shaped by the communities it seeks to serve.
I’ve walked away with plenty of new ideas, inspiration and connections. Looking forward to seeing where some of these conversations lead!”
