Kay Sharma: I Feel Incredibly Proud and Honored to Share the Final Agenda for The ISTH Continuing Education Forum
Kay Sharma, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at iCardioOncology at SanMed, shared on LinkedIn:
”I feel incredibly proud and honored to share the final agenda for the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) Continuing Education Forum, taking place on Friday, October 17, 2025, which will immediately precede the International Conference of Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
This initiative has truly been a labour of joy from the initial ISTH supported education course application to its full realization in the coming days; where I am thrilled to be part of its development.
Following the tremendous success of the ISTH Congress 2025 China Forum and the overwhelmingly positive feedback, iCardioOncology 三度医学 (SanMed) are ready to build on that momentum with the support of ISTH and the Asian Pacific Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (APSTH) to better serve the global medical community.
Working closely with the ISTH Continuing Education Committee, I have helped design a program that directly reflects topics of shared interest between international experts and the local audience : ensuring relevance, impact, and meaningful global exchange.
Today, on World Thrombosis Day (WTD), I am proud to release this agenda with purpose.
The 2025 campaign theme “From Head to Toe” highlights the critical link between blood clots and major chronic conditions such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and obesity.
Our program is designed to address these intersections, with sessions focusing on:
Foundations and Global Perspectives in Haemostasis and Coagulation
Comprehensive Strategies for Thrombosis and Thrombophilia Care, including updates on VTE in Pediatrics
Evolving Paradigms in the Management of Bleeding Disorders, featuring Bleeding Disorders in Women and New Therapies in Haemophilia
…and much more.
This event represents a crucial step toward translating global standards into clinical practice, with the support and leadership of ISTH and the APSTH.
Also, as Cardio-Oncology continues to bridge the worlds of cancer and thrombosis, I sincerely hope that cardio-oncologists around the world will join this initiative.
Your expertise and collaboration are vital to strengthen multidisciplinary care models, deepen our understanding of the basic science, and translate evidence into better outcomes for patients globally.
A heartfelt thank you to all our speakers, chairs, and collaborators who have made this possible.
I look forward to another resounding success in advancing global education and awareness in Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
