↑ ESR: ↑ fibrinogen, ↑ immunoglobulins, ↓ Hct
↓ ESR: poikilocytosis, ↓ RBC deformability, ↑ Hct, ↑ plasma viscosity
Red cell stacking speeds it up. Resistance slows it down.”
