Advancing Gene Therapy Research for Glanzmann Thrombasthenia – Glanzmann’s Research Foundation
Glanzmann’s Research Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“More than four years ago, we visited David Wilcox and his team at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where they have spent decades advancing a potential gene therapy cure for GlanzmannThrombasthenia.
Today, we are closer than ever to clinical trials, and we’ll soon be returning to the lab to see firsthand how much progress has been made.
The science is there. The expertise is there.
The biggest barrier to this research reaching patients is funding.
What makes the us so unique as a non-profit in the rare bleeding disorders space is that all donations directly support research to find a cure.
Every donation helps move this promising therapy one step closer to clinical trials.”
