ISTH Leading the Biggest Global Initiative on Thrombosis Awareness During World Thrombosis Day Campaign
The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) recently shared a proud post on LinkedIn:
”Did you know the ISTH proudly leads the biggest global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about thrombosis? The World Thrombosis Day campaign brings together thousands of health professionals, medical organizations, and advocates across the globe to shine a spotlight on this often-overlooked condition.
Our mission is clear:
- Increase awareness of thrombosis—its causes, risk factors and symptoms
- Promote evidence-based prevention and treatment
- Reduce the death and disability caused by blood clots
Our dedicated ISTH members are always among the first to step up in support of this critical cause. And today, we’re asking for the entire bleeding community’s support. On this Social Media Giving Day, please consider donating to help us continue life-saving education, advocacy, and outreach in more than 120 countries.
Together, we can stop the silent threat of thrombosis.”
