Breaking the Silence Around Bleeding Disorders in Women – National Bleeding Disorders Foundation
National Bleeding Disorders Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Through Project Elevate Her, Maia is bringing attention to a challenge that reaches across countries: barriers to diagnosis, treatment, and care for women and girls with bleeding disorders.
Heavy periods, frequent nosebleeds, and easy bruising shouldn’t automatically be dismissed as normal.
For some women and girls, these symptoms may be signs of an underlying bleeding disorder.
Through Better You Know, you can learn more about potential symptoms and take a risk assessment to help you decide whether to speak with a healthcare professional.
Learn more and take the assessment.”
