Andrés Felipe Escobar González: Inno8 – Bringing Oral Innovation to Haemophilia Care

Andrés Felipe Escobar González, Pediatric Hematologist, Hemophilia Program at Medicarte, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Jacob Lund et al., published in Blood, adding:

“The development of Inno8, an orally administered factor VIIIa-mimetic antibody fragment, represents an exciting step toward transforming hemophilia A treatment.

An oral therapy capable of mimicking FVIIIa function could offer a more convenient, non-intravenous approach to restoring coagulation and potentially reducing treatment burden.

The key will be translating this innovative concept into robust clinical efficacy, safety, and long-term protection against bleeding.

Innovation in hemophilia care means not only improving hemostasis, but also making effective treatment more accessible and patient-centered.”
