Archil Jaliashvili: Hemoglobin Dose in Red Cell Transfusion
Archil Jaliashvili, Co-Chief Executive Officer at GeoBio Pharm, Biotech Executive, Strategic Partner of BHOC and Precision Oxygen Therapeutics, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Preprint, adding:
“Carl Rausch and I have published a new preprint:
Hemoglobin Dose and Red Cell Transfusion: Component Variability, Oxygen Function, and Measurement Uncertainty
We examine why counting red cell units does not specify the hemoglobin mass administered, and propose studies connecting component measurements with oxygen function and the recipient’s response.
My thanks to Arun V J, Ari Gargir, Sarah Walbolt, Ahmed Alotaibi, Tom Ferry, Zahra Ghasemi and Lee Ka Yan Karen ( Sugar Down ) for their comments and contributions to preparing this manuscript.
Thank you, Carl Rausch, for our continued scientific collaboration and continuing evolving technology
I welcome colleagues’ thoughts and discussion.”
