Ayesha Masood: Delighted to Share My First Published Meta-Analysis
Ayesha Masood, Associate Manager at Multiomics – Global Research Community, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article, published in The Cerebellum, adding:
“Alhamdulillah! A milestone I am truly grateful for.
Every research journey begins with curiosity, but it is shaped by dedication, perseverance, and continuous learning.
Today, I am delighted to share an important milestone in my academic journey—my first published meta-analysis!
What started as an opportunity to learn the principles of systematic reviews and meta-analysis during the Multiomics Course gradually evolved into a meaningful research experience.
From literature searches and study screening to data extraction and analysis, every step brought new challenges and valuable lessons in evidence-based research.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Sir M Junaid Iqbal for his guidance, supervision, and mentorship throughout this journey.
His support played a pivotal role in transforming learning into a published piece of research.
I am excited to share that our work has now been published in Springer Nature Journal.
A sincere thank you to all my co-authors M Junaid Iqbal, Muteeba Azhar, Hammad Javaid, Amina H., and Michele Menotta, for their collaboration, insightful discussions, and contributions.
Research is truly a team effort, and I am grateful to have shared this experience with such dedicated individuals.
This publication is more than just a paper – it represents growth, learning, and the beginning of what I hope will be a long journey of contributing to science and public health.
Looking forward to many more opportunities to learn, collaborate, and contribute to evidence-based research.”
