Nick Krontiris: EASIX Shows Prognostic Value in Critically Ill Patients With Ischemic Stroke
Nick Krontiris, Founder of Suprastratum, shared a post on X about a recent article by Wen Bai et al, published in Brain and Behavior, adding:
“Here, the Endothelial Activation and Stress Index (EASIX), a novel biomarker that reflects endothelial dysfunction and systemic inflammation calculated from lactate dehydrogenase, creatinine, and platelet count, was associated with short- and long-term mortality in critically ill patients with ischemic stroke.”
