Rose Agor: Celebrating Two New Publications in Haematology Research
Rose Agor, Medical Laboratory Scientist at Balm of God Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Two new publications! Two more milestones in my research journey!
Guess who has two new co-authored publications? ME!
I’m excited to share that I have co-authored two research articles published in the African Journal of Laboratory Haematology and Transfusion Science.
Publication 1:
- Assessment of the Association between Platelets and Some Coagulation Proteins among Pregnant Women Attending Antenatal Care in a Tertiary Hospital in Aba, Nigeria.
This study investigated the interactions between platelets and coagulation proteins in apparently healthy maternal subjects.
Publication 2:
- Assessment of Some Haematologic Parameters of Chronic Kidney Disease Dialysed Patients in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria.
This study investigated the effect of chronic kidney disease on the Hematologic system of patients undergoing dialysis.
Both studies explored important aspects of haematology and its relevance to patient care.
Every publication reminds me that research is a journey of curiosity, collaboration, learning, and persistence.
Behind every published paper are questions to be answered, work to be done, and people whose contributions make the process possible.
My special gratitude goes to Asso. Prof. O. C. Okamgba (M.Sc., PhD, FWAPCMLS, AIMLS). Faculty of Medical Laboratory Science, Abia State University Uturu, Abia State, for introducing me to the research world.
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist passionate about research and its contribution to better healthcare outcome, I’m grateful for every opportunity to contribute to scientific knowledge and grow through collaboration with other researchers.
A big thank you to my co-authors and everyone who contributed to making these publications possible.”
