Sahil Gorka: A Step Forward in Optimizing Platelet Transfusion Assessment
Sahil Gorka, Senior Resident at AIIMS Jammu, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Asian Journal of Transfusion Science, adding:
”Delighted to share that our article, ‘Evaluation of Corrected Count Increment and Percent Platelet Recovery as measures of post-transfusion platelet response in thrombocytopenic patients’ has been published in the Asian Journal of Transfusion Science.
This study explores the effectiveness of platelet transfusions using CCI and PPR, contributing to better assessment of transfusion outcomes and patient care.
Grateful to my co-authors, mentors, and colleagues for their support throughout this work.”
