Shehab Mohamed: A Single-Center Experience on Stroke Risk in Polycythemia Vera
Shehab Mohamed, Hematologist at Hamad Medical Corporation, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, adding:
”Delighted to share our latest publication in MPN, presenting our own center’s experience on early and recurrent stroke in polycythemia vera.
Our findings highlight that stroke can occur early in the disease course and reinforce the importance of proactive risk assessment and integrated care between hematology and neurology.
This paper is especially meaningful because it reflects a genuine collaboration with our colleagues in the Neurology Department, with special appreciation to Dr. Yahia Z Imam for his expertise and support throughout this work.
Many thanks to the entire team for this excellent collaborative effort.”
