Steve Moon, Occupational Health AI Developer, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Maturitas, adding:
“I’m pleased to share that our research has been published in Maturitas (IF 4.2, JCR 89.9 percent).
‘Smoking cessation duration and risk of ischemic stroke: A nationwide cohort study in Korea.’
Using a nationwide cohort of over 1.3 million individuals, we examined how the duration of smoking cessation is associated with ischaemic stroke risk.
Our findings highlight the importance of sustained smoking cessation for stroke prevention.
Grateful to my co-authors for their collaboration and contributions.”
