Susan Shea, Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery at University of Pittsburgh, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, adding:
”We had so much fun collaborating with David Ku (my PhD advisor – talk about full circle!!) on this study.
We tested the Ku Lab‘s high shear platelet assay technology on arriving trauma patients and followed them through the first few days of their hospital stay, identifying impaired function in real time.
Hard work by Jack Killinger, Gian Carlo Rivera Crespo and Chris Bresette made this possible!”
