New JTH Research on Bleeding Risk in Pregnant Women Treated for Acute Venous Thromboembolism

Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“The risk of bleeding in pregnant women with acute venous thromboembolism treated with anticoagulants: an international multidatabase cohort study

This multinational study assessed bleeding risk in pregnant women treated with low-molecular-weight heparins (LMWH) for acute VTE. It found no significant difference in bleeding risk between LMWH types or dosing schedules, highlighting the need for further research to optimize anticoagulation care in pregnancy.”
