Elisabeth Huis Guides Winning Team at ECDHM 2025 Hackathon on Predictive Stock and Donor Engagement
Elisabeth Huis, Assistant Professor at the Department of Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University, posted on LinkedIn:
”The winning group of the ECDHM 2025 hackathon (with óne vote extra) demonstrated how:
- You can use data from stock levels to accurately visualise current stock,
- and how you could potentially use it to predict future stock,
- which can be accurately visualised with a dynamic Graphic User Interface, (GUI), to instill a sense of urgency in donors in a visually engaging way,
- how these can be further harnassed by implementing A/B testing and ‘nudges’,
- which combined with an ‘appointment’ function can be used to immediately encourage donors to make appointment,
- and which can assess which behavioral strategies work best for donor recruitment and retention.
