”I recently attended the 4th International Conference on Hemophilia and Rare Bleeding Disorders, and one session that really caught my attention was by Dr. Nita Radhakrishnan on “Collaborative Indian Data on Hemophilia from the WBDR Registry.”
She shared how data collected through the World Bleeding Disorders Registry (WBDR) has helped create a clearer picture of hemophilia care in India, from patient demographics to treatment access.
What stood out to me was how this kind of collaboration helps fill the data gaps in countries where underreporting is still a challenge.
It was inspiring to see how sharing data globally can lead to better policies, improved access to care, and more informed decisions for patients with rare bleeding disorders.
Feeling grateful to have learned from experts who are truly shaping the future of hemophilia management.”
