”Bleeding Disorder of Unknown Cause (BDUC): What Do We Know?
We are excited to share that we recently summarized nearly two decades of clinical and research experience in the management of patients with bleeding disorders of unknown cause (BDUC).
This review represents a long-standing, collaborative effort to better understand the natural history of BDUC led by Ingrid Pabinger, Johanna Gebhart, and Cihan Ay at our institution (Medical University of Vienna).
At the American Society of Hematology 2025 Annual Meeting in Orlando, Prof. Pabinger presented our current understanding of how to predict and treat BDUC-an important step toward improving care for this under-recognized patient population.”
