Soroush Nematollahi: Antiphospholipid Syndrome Manifesting as Myocardial Infarction
Soroush Nematollahi, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Tehran Heart Cente, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Our most recent case report has just been published:
“Antiphospholipid Syndrome Manifesting as Myocardial Infarction: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.”
This work highlights how APS can present as acute MI, complicating PCI with migratory thrombi, and underscores the importance of thrombophilia screening in young patients. We also review the literature to emphasize tailored anticoagulation strategies and long-term management.
Grateful to my co-authors and colleagues for their collaboration.”
