Mandeep Mehra on Scientific Discovery in 2026 Sustained by Data, Innovation, and Enduring Relationships
Mandeep Mehra, The William Harvey Chair in Advanced Cardiovascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“An evening with colleagues and friends such as Peter Libby and Marc Pfeffer was a reminder of how fortunate we are to learn within communities defined by curiosity, generosity, and perspective. It is not often that illustrious scientists also reveal unexpected talents—Peter’s beautifully prepared salmon en croûte was a memorable expression of care and craft.
Moments like these reinforce that scholarship flourishes through conversation, mentorship, and shared reflection.
As we look ahead, may our collective legacy in 2026 be defined not only by what we discover, but by whom we teach, mentor, and inspire.
Wishing all a healthy and fulfilling 2026.”
