“An evening with colleagues and friends such as Peter Libby and Marc Pfeffer was a reminder of how fortunate we are to learn within communities defined by curiosity, generosity, and perspective. It is not often that illustrious scientists also reveal unexpected talents—Peter’s beautifully prepared salmon en croûte was a memorable expression of care and craft.
Moments like these reinforce that scholarship flourishes through conversation, mentorship, and shared reflection.
