Today, the World Health Organization Executive Board (EB158) discussed a historic draft resolution on Global Action to Advance Health Equity for People with Hemophilia and Other Bleeding Disorders.
The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) commends the leadership of the Republic of Armenia and all co-sponsoring Member States — Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Georgia, Iraq, Latvia, Malta, Morocco, Nepal, Paraguay, Spain, Sri Lanka, and Togo — for proposing this landmark resolution for consideration at EB158.
We also thank the additional Member States that expressed their support.
This marked the first-ever discussion on hemophilia and other bleeding disorders at the WHO Executive Board.
