”This weekend at DINC 2026, we presented our research on age, gender, and comorbidity patterns among stroke patients in Ras Al Khaimah, a region where a gap in stroke research still persists.
Every population has its own patterns when it comes to age, risk factors, and comorbidities, and those differences matter.
Understanding how stroke presents within a specific community is essential so management and prevention efforts are tailored to the population’s needs.
It was a pleasure discussing our work with Dr. Suhail Al Rukn, President of the MENA Stroke Organization, and we appreciated his interest and thoughtful engagement with our research.”
