Big Win Thanks to NORD : 1 Single Law Removes Barriers for Rare Disease Patients in Alaska
National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) shared a proud announcement on X:
”Big win in Alaska! As part of the SAIM Coalition, NORD helped pass SB 133—a new law that removes step therapy barriers for Rare Disease patients. Alaska patients can now access the medications their doctors prescribe without navigating burdensome “fail first” requirements. One more state making care accessible.”
