“DIAGNOSING ITP
It’s a diagnosis of exclusion, typically with:
- Isolated thrombocytopenia (PLT < 100k)
- No splenomegaly
- No evidence of other causes (e.g., meds, infections)
Think ITP when the platelets are low, but everything else looks… normal.”
