Jecko Thachil: Anticoagulation in Patients With Metabolic-Associated Fatty Liver Disease
Jecko Thachil, Consultant Haematologist at NHS, shared a post on LinkedIn about about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, adding:
“Patients with liver disease were historically considered to be at increased risk of bleeding. But, now we know that such patients may actually be at increased risk of thrombosis, especially in setting of metabolic associated fatty liver disease or staetohepatitis.
How do we anticoagulate such patients?”
