Riten Kumar: Diagnosis and Management of Post-Thrombotic Sequelae Following Non-Extremity VTE in Children
Riten Kumar, Director of Thrombosis and Anticoagulation at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, shared a post on LinkedIn, about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, adding:
“Non-extremity thrombosis constitutes approximately 40% of pediatric VTE and is associated with significant long-term morbidity.
In this JTH review, we summarize the current evidence on the epidemiology, pathophysiology, and management of post-thrombotic sequelae following non-extremity VTE in children.”
