Kerry Bozza Funkhouser at HFA on The Annual Meeting on The Evolving Care Needs of Girls and Women with Blood Disorders
Kerry Bozza Funkhouser, the Executive Director for the Foundation for Women and Girls with Blood Disorders, has shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Thank you to HFA for the opportunity to present today at their annual meeting on the evolving care needs of girls and women with blood disorders – and for the privilege of collaborating with Maureen Baldwin (Ahh – amazing!!).
Our joint session focused on the clinical and practical considerations across the lifespan, from menstruation and reproductive decision-making to perimenopause and menopause.
We also emphasized the importance of coordinated, interdisciplinary care to better support persons at every stage.
We especially appreciated the thoughtful discussion.
Conversations like these are essential to advancing equitable, informed care for women and girls with blood disorders.
So grateful to be part of a community working to strengthen provider education and improve outcomes for all.”
