Salih Ehsan: Why Are HbA2 Levels Stable in Thalassemia Minor During Severe Iron Deficiency?

“The impact of IDA on HbA2 levels in thalassemia minor is only few persentage, mostly thalassemia minor maintained HbA2 levels above the diagnostic threshold even when they were severely iron deficient.”
