ASH Committee Brings the Voice of Hematology to Capitol Hill
American Society of Hematology (ASH) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today, the ASH Committee on Practice brought the voice of hematology to Capitol Hill, advocating for the Sickle Cell Disease Comprehensive Care Act (S.721/H.R. 5178), the Improving Access to Transfusion Care for Hospice Patients Act (S.1936), and the Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act of 2025 (S.1816/H.R. 3514).
ASH also presented Sen. Shelley Moore Capito with the 2025 ASH Public Service Award, recognizing her support for the NIH and biomedical research.
Her leadership continues to drive innovation and progress across the field.
