Study Reveals F11R/JAM-A’s Role in Platelet-Mediated Thrombus Formation

Kamola et al. showed that blocking interactions of platelets’ F11R/JAM-A with its surface-bound counterpart compromises thrombus formation.“
Kamola et al. investigated the role of F11R/JAM-A in thrombus formation and demonstrated that interrupting its interaction on platelet surfaces reduces thrombus stability. The findings are published in Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
