Konstantin Yenkoyan, Scientist in Chief at Cobrain Center, Vice Rector for science at Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi, shared a post on LinkedIn:

Neuroscience Week 2026 continues in Yerevan | Day 2 and Day 3

Another two intense and inspiring days at the COBRAIN Center of YSMU.

From stress biology and neuroinflammation to neurodegeneration, psychiatry, cognition, neurodevelopment, and translational neuroscience – discussions continued across multiple

exciting directions of modern brain science.

Alongside high-level international lectures, Day 2 and Day 3 included active poster sessions, the COBRAIN Journal Club, interactive discussions, and sharp scientific questions

from students and young researchers.

Good poster presentations were also delivered by YSMU COBRAIN young researchers – Margarita Mirumyan, Ella Baghdasaryan, and Hamlet Torosyan.

Researchers and speakers from more than 15 countries continue sharing ideas, presenting new findings, and building future collaborations in neuroscience and biological psychiatry.

What makes Neuroscience Week especially valuable is the combination of scientific excellence, international exchange, and the energy of the next generation of neuroscientists.

and yes, Armenian coffee discussions between sessions remain an important part of the event.”
