Raimundo C. Santos, Medical Director of WR Associated Physicians, shared a post on LinkedIn:

It carries blood from the heart and distributes it to all organs.
Take good care of it!
The main aggressors are:
- smoking
- high blood pressure
- atherosclerosis, arrhythmias
- genetic collagen diseases
These lead, respectively, to:
- aortic ulcers
- dissections
- aneurysms
