Azusa Nagao: Organizing the Symposium on Women and Bleeding Disorders at JSTH Annual Meeting
Azusa Nagao, Lecturer at Department of Hematology-Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“At the Japanese Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis Annual Meeting, I organized and chaired a symposium focused on women and bleeding disorders.
We shared real voices and experiences from women living with conditions such as von Willebrand disease, hemophilia carrier status, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, followed by an active discussion with the audience.
I will continue working to improve awareness and diagnosis so that fewer women have to suffer without recognition or appropriate care.”
