Anna Tobiasch: Should Fibrinogen and FXIII Be Restored Together After Severe Haemodilution?
Anna Tobiasch, Translational Scientist at Tirol Kliniken GmBH, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Thrombosis Research, adding:
“This project started with a simple question: if fibrinogen and FXIII decline together during severe haemodilution, should we also think about restoring them together?
Beyond the specific findings, this work highlights an idea that continues to fascinate me: haemostasis is not determined by isolated factors, but by their interactions and the emergent properties of the resulting clot.
