Francesco Tannura: The Potential of the Khorana Risk Score for PE Stratification in Lung Cancer
Francesco Tannura, Clinical Fellow at Ramón y Cajal University Hospital, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Cancers MDPI, adding:
”I am pleased to announce that our work, titled ‘Pulmonary Embolism in Patients with Lung Cancer: Incidence and Performance of Prognostic Markers’, has just been published in Cancers (Cancers MDPI).
This research evaluates the performance of current risk stratification models for pulmonary embolism in lung cancer patients, and explores the potential of the Khorana Risk Score.
I am grateful to my supervisors, for their support and guidance throughout this journey (Roberta Pancani, Alessandro Celi, Laura Carrozzi).
This publication marks an important milestone for me, providing a solid foundation for my current research field.”
