Alexandra Yakusheva: Refining Thrombosis Models to Advance Antithrombotic Therapy

Alexandra Yakusheva, Preclinical Scientist at EFS, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Blood Vessels, Thrombosis and Hemostasis, adding:

“A new milestone

I’m happy to share our new publication in Blood Vessels, Thrombosis and Hemostasis:

A murine stable thrombosis model enabling assessment of antithrombotic agents under physiologically relevant conditions

This paper is particularly special to me because it is my first publication as the last author.

For many people, that may seem like a small detail. But for me, it’s an important milestone. It reminds me that I’m capable of mentoring others, leading a project, and taking responsibility for its scientific direction.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this work. Developing new experimental models is always a team effort, and I’m grateful to everyone who helped make this project possible.

And on a lighter note…

I think I’m slowly collecting the Blood Infinity Stones

  • Blood
  • Blood Advances
  • Blood Vessels, Thrombosis and Hemostasis

I guess now I have to keep going.”
