Oraianthi Fiste: New Collection on Cancer-Associated Thrombosis From Mechanisms to Precision Medicine
Oraianthi Fiste, Medical Oncologist at Hygeia Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Collection entitled ‘Decoding Cancer-Associated Thrombosis: From Mechanisms to Multiscale Modeling and Precision Medicine’!
Prof. Dr. Avgerinos, Dr. Gkioulekas, and I are delighted to serve as Guest Editors for this interdisciplinary Special Issue, which will bring together perspectives from oncology, vascular medicine and surgery, hematology, immunology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and computational sciences.
We welcome original research, translational studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and state-of-the-art reviews addressing these interconnected mechanisms and their implications for cancer-associated thrombosis. Manuscripts can be submitted to this Collection through either of the participating Springer Nature journals:
- Discover Life
- Discover Immunity
We warmly invite colleagues and researchers working across these disciplines to contribute to this Collection and help advance our understanding of CAT from a major clinical complication toward an integrated component of cancer biology, immunity, thrombosis, and precision medicine.”
