Konstantinos Bistas: Reduced Circulating Tregs in Pediatric Chronic Neutropenia
Konstantinos Bistas, Clinical Trial Sub-Investigator at Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Unit, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Konstantina Toutoudaki et al., published in European Journal Of Haematology, adding:
“This study provides valuable insight into the pathogenesis of pediatric chronic neutropenia by demonstrating reduced circulating Tregs in both Autoimmune and Chronic Idiopathic Neutropenia.
Its assessment of the relationship between Treg levels and clinical features, particularly infection severity, adds important clinical relevance to the findings.
Definitely worth a read!”
