“Life is full of surprises.
Never did I think I would be exercising my First Amendment right to petition our government advocating for research into warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (wAIHA).
When my father in law was diagnosed with this rare blood disease the family felt helpless. I figured I could use my legislative expertise to do my part.
Mike is in compensated remission, but he too decided he needed to be a voice for those who are suffering with this rare disease.”
