Zia Ullah Shah: Advancing Early Diagnosis of Wilson Disease With AI and Biomarkers
Zia Ullah Shah, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Medical Laboratory Sciences at Kohat University of Science and Technology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A proud milestone in my research journey
I am delighted to share that my review paper abstract has been selected for poster presentation at the Rare Disease Research Conference 2026, taking place on 5 November 2026 at O’Reilly Hall, University College Dublin, Ireland.
My work focuses on emerging biomarkers and artificial intelligence-assisted approaches for the early laboratory diagnosis of Wilson disease, exploring how advances in laboratory medicine can contribute to improved diagnosis of rare diseases.
Although I will unfortunately be unable to attend the conference in person due to international travel constraints, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have my review paper abstract is selected for poster presentation at an international scientific conference.
This recognition motivates me to continue developing my research skills and contributing to medical laboratory sciences, molecular diagnostics, and biomedical research, while working toward my long-term goal of pursuing doctoral research.”
