Manshi Kesharwani: SAK-GQDs Modulate Thrombus Burden and Endothelial Function in Deep Vein Thrombosis
Manshi Kesharwani, Assistant Professor Pharmacy at IES University of Bhopal, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Nanomedicine, adding:
“A proud milestone in my research journey!
I am delighted to share that our research article, ‘Functionalized graphene quantum dots for sakuranetin delivery to modulate the thromboinflammatory microenvironment in deep vein thrombosis,’ has been published in Nanomedicine: Nanotechnology, Biology and Medicine by Elsevier.
In this work, we explored sakuranetin-loaded graphene quantum dots (SAK-GQDs) as a multifunctional nanomedicine approach for deep vein thrombosis (DVT), with promising effects on thrombus burden, coagulation, endothelial function, and thrombo-inflammatory markers.
I am incredibly grateful to my research guide Prof. Swapnil Sharma, co-authors, and everyone who contributed to this work for their guidance, support, and collaboration throughout this journey.
This publication is a meaningful achievement and a wonderful culmination of the research work I undertook during my M.Pharm (Pharmacology).
