“Reunited very quickly with my National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute crew Bhavisha Patel and Fernanda Gutierrez Rodrigues, PhD for the 3rd International VEXAS conference in Milan.
An excellent scientific meeting and a chance to catch up with many colleagues and friends.
There was a good showing from the hematology NHLBI team!
Bhavisha Patel presented results from our clinical trial using HCT in VEXAS due to be published shortly!
Neal S. Young gave a lecture on somatic mutations and evolution.
Also worked in some time for sightseeing and got to (peripherally) experience fashion week!”
